Paul and Delia met in Houston while attending college, married and entered immediately into ministry. Together, they have traveled broadly, networking in a many Christian circles. They planted and pastored a church in Salt Lake City, Utah where Paul also served as chaplain at Ft. Douglas. The Russells then responded to a call from Abundant Life Church in St. Louis, Missouri and served as senior pastor for fourteen years. While there, they were instrumental in helping establish a coalition of city-wide ministries called Mission Metro St. Louis and served on the St. Louis Billy Graham Crusade executive team. Paul was elected chairman of Global Network of Christian Ministries, an association of 300 ministers, and served in that position for six years.
During the four years prior to moving to northwest Houston in 2005, the Russells as associate pastor at the 5000 member Christ Church Nashville, in Tennessee. Paul and Delia are excited to bring their experience and energy to invest in this new work. Paul continues to connect with a number of churches and ministries, offering oversight and mentoring pastors.

KENNIS AND SAMANTHA RUSSELL
Kennis and Samantha Russell moved to Houston five months after their wedding to help plant Christ Church Houston Northwest in 2005. Kennis is on staff full time at CCHNW as the worship and youth pastor. He has his BA in music composition from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. He teaches private music lessons as well. Samantha graduated from Indiana University with a BA in communications. She serves in various areas on the children's, youth and technical teams. In July 2010, little Evangeline, a baby daughter, entered their lives and our world.
